The Scalable Enterprise Management Application (SEMA) software is an infrastructure management application with a web-based interface that allows enterprise-wide KVM switching, asset management and power monitoring and control when used with CPI’s CenterBridge, SEMA-compatible monitored or controlled PDUs and PowerScope In-Line Metre.
Note: SEMA is required when using CPI’s CenterBridge KVM Switch.
Features include:
- Provides enterprise-wide infrastructure management including KVM switching, asset management and power monitoring
- Intuitive web-based interface with map-, room- and rack-level views of data centres – the graphical interface shows equipment in the RMU space it occupies in the rack
- Provides browser-based access to computers, storage equipment and network switches attached to CenterBridge
- Stores critical information about each device in a searchable, centralised data base to track assets across your entire enterprise
- Provides temperature, humidity and per outlet (per device) power measurement and monitoring with current-usage reporting, power cycling and threshold alarms when used with SEMA-compatible, controlled CPI PDUs
- Creates current-usage reports used to identify power problems and optimise distribution of equipment
