Research, Development and Training Centre
Designed with our customers in mind, the RD&T Centre offers visitors the ability to observe real-world data centre thermal testing and allows CPI to perform top-notch in-house product testing. Not only does this 10,200 square-foot centre boast state-of-the-art test facilities, but also provides a fully equipped training centre, product showroom and modern customer meeting centre.

Product Showroom
Interact with multiple CPI Products in one environment in the Product Showroom which allows customers to experience a total solution. The showroom is equipped with CPI Cabinets, Racks, Cable Management, Cable Tray, Wall-Mount Enclosures, Remote Monitoring and Power Management Products.
Thermal Test Lab
Model real-world data centre issues, demonstrate the efficiencies of CPI Passive Cooling Solutions and discuss with thermal experts how to effectively design your data centre for optimum thermal management.
- Allows testing of various CPI Passive Cooling configurations
- Offers access, slab and shared floor environment testing
- Designed with three return air paths: open hot aisle-cold aisle, suspended ceiling and ducted exhaust
- Set up with various cabinet types to demonstrate recommended best practices
- Contains load simulators to mimic different servers
Product Test Lab
CPI’s Product Test Lab provides the technology and equipment required for precise mechanical testing, electrical testing and prototyping of products.
Capabilities include testing static and dynamic load ratings of CPI Products (up to 10,000 lb), and electrical testing capabilities for CPI Power Management Products. The Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) System enables CPI to produce on-site plastic prototypes that provide working products for customer to review and test.
Customer Meeting Centre
A comfortable high-tech space, the Customer Meeting Centre is available for small or large customer meetings and events. Up to 25 guests can enjoy a complete audio visual experience. Electronic privacy glass windows to the Thermal Test Lab and Product Showroom allow guests to view select products from the comfort of their chair.
Training Centre
The Training Centre offers a fully equipped location for effectively training CPI employees, partners and customers. Up to 125 guests can enjoy a complete audio visual experience.

Located in Georgetown, Texas, the RD&T Centre is positioned adjacent to one of CPI’s key manufacturing and office sites, 20 miles north of Austin off of Interstate 35, making customer visits a fully comprehensive event.
